Nuclear-21’s Aliki van Heek attended the 17th edition of the annual European Nuclear Energy Forum (ENEF), organised by the European Commission in Prague, Czech Republic. The Forum is alternatingly hosted by the Czech Republic and Slovakia, with high-level (Ministerial) attendance. This year’s conference focused on the role of nuclear energy towards meeting the EU’s 2040 climate targets, related energy and industrial policy goals and challenges for Small Modular Reactors.
Aliki took part in the round table discussions on Financing Investments and Public Engagement.
