Nuclear-21 partner in “Yes to Nuclear Perspectives” exploring how nuclear S&T provides the avenues towards achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals

Nuclear science and technology is much more than nuclear energy despite the latter a crucial component of any scenario towards a more sustainable future for all. The New Nuclear Watch Institute partnered with Nuclear Innovation Alliance, World Nuclear Transport Institute, Nuclear-21 and support by Nuclear Energy Institute launch the “Yes to Nuclear Perspectives” initiative with theĀ aim to explore how nuclear science and technology can help mankind to achieve the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals by the target date of 2030.

The coming decade is crucial in tackling sustainability challenges. Nuclear science and technology solutions are crucial to get us effectively on this path towards a more prosperous future for us all. As Nuclear-21 we strongly embrace this initiative seeking to bring science-based decisional support information on how the nuclear community can ensure this future.

Monthly publications will bring insights on the paths forward for the sustainable development goals and how nuclear S&T contributes, an industry perspective how these can be enabled and a country perspective presenting the policy and motivations within various countries how nuclear S&T is part of sustainable policies.
