Nuclear-21’s Founding Partner Luc Van Den Durpel named international member of CEA’s “Conseil Scientifique”

Luc Van Den Durpel has been named international member of the Conseil Scientifique (Scientific Council) of the French CEA (Commissariat à l’énergie atomique et aux energies alternatives) from January 15th 2021 on for a period of 4 years.

“I’m very honoured to serve the CEA and France during these very important years ahead where innovative science-based solutions will define the answer to many societal questions, not at least sustainable energy solutions. France is already among the top-performers regarding a decarbonised energy mix with a strong nuclear component and can remain a leader in the world in that respect. CEA is extremely instrumental in France’s capability-building achieving these goals.”
