DEMA allows to simulate dynamically change energy market futures including electric and non-electric energy needs and the competition between various energy transformation technologies from primary energy until energy services.
DEMA is a system dynamics based model allowing to project the driving factors defining the energy system development and deployment scenarios and resulting into energy system scenarios. DEMA can be directly coupled to the DANESS intra-nuclear model for in-depth analysis of nuclear energy’s competitiveness in synergistic energy systems.
It goes associated with a DEMA-database to characterise the different technologies as well as the past and present of the energy systems on a country/regional/world level.
